AEGIS Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AEGIS service, browser extension, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AEGIS provides cryptographic proof of origin for AI-generated content. The Service creates immutable, timestamped cryptographic seals that document the creation of intellectual property derived from AI interactions.

Key Features: DNA minting, Merkle tree auditing, TruthVault encrypted storage, and optional blockchain anchoring for enhanced verification.

3. Cryptographic Proof of Origin

The Service provides cryptographic proof that specific content existed at a specific point in time. This proof is generated through SHA-256 hashing and RSA-2048 digital signatures.

Important: While AEGIS provides strong cryptographic evidence of content origin and timing, it does not constitute legal copyright registration. Users should consult with legal professionals regarding intellectual property protection strategies.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AEGIS and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar that may be transmitted through our Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. AEGIS expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
